Pittsburgh Pediatric Therapy provides occupational therapy services to children and young adults in the Pittsburgh region with complex medical needs. Pittsburgh Pediatric Therapy's mission is to help fill in some of the gaps in treatment, support, and programming available to individuals with complex medical needs. Recognizing that progress for individuals with special needs often takes time, PPT works closely with all members of the individual's life to write goals and treatment plans that are realistic and achievable. Therapy services are provided in the home or community depending on the unique needs and goals of each client.

No diagnosis is too complex and no goal unachievable.

Meet the Therapist

Hi! My name is Hadley Dean. I've been an occupational therapist for six years. In that time, I've worked primarily with children and young adults with complex medical needs, including cerebral palsy, autism, sensory processing disorder, vision impairment, and much, much more. I've loved all of the settings I've been fortunate enough to work in, but seeing clients in their homes and working with the entire family unit is by far my favorite.

In addition to practicing as an OT, I teach anatomy and neurobehavioral science courses in the University of Pittsburgh's Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. I went to Pitt for both my undergraduate degree (French) and my graduate degree (Master of Occupational Therapy) and am so happy to remain a part of that community of learners.

When I'm not working, you can most likely find me in the kitchen, cooking or baking. I also enjoy spending time reading, gardening, and camping and hiking with my husband and two dogs.
